It's, I guess, our story is very similar to many other charities where it happened almost not by design or, just quite organically.

And, uh, Mark went down, you know, just to hang out and help, uh, with volunteering, and noticed that a lot of the people who were attending the soup kitchen had pets with them.

And so Mark said to his friend, "Oh, well, I can come back next month with the kitchen, and I can bring some, you know, parasite control and, and I can do some pet checks if you like, if you think that would be helpful." And the, you know, the friend was like, "That sounds awesome." So sure enough, Mark turned up the following month with a plastic tub from Bunnings full of, um, parasite control and all his vet gear from his local clinic, and proceeded to do free health checks on the pets of the people who were attending the soup kitchen.

One thing then led to another, so you know vets know vets know vets, so they all started hearing-

And next thing you know, got another vet who's like, "Oh, well, I can come along and give you a hand." And then that just kept sort of growing, um, until they got to a point where they went, "Well, this is a viable model," and also hitting a, um, a very much an area of need.

So the charity was established in 2012, and last year we, um, opened clinic 11 and 12, um, around the country.

So it's gone from one vet with a plastic tub in Parramatta to 12 clinics now around the country.
