Nobody decided you'd be doing the work of two or three people, it just happened. One position never got filled. One project got added "temporarily."
Now you're the person everyone routes things to, because you're the only one who actually gets it done. That's not really a compliment. It's a warning sign.
In Exodus 18, Moses is doing something that looks like strength, settling every dispute for an entire nation, sunup to sundown, until his father-in-law Jethro tells him plainly: this isn't good, you'll wear yourself out, the load is too heavy for you alone. Moses wasn't lazy. He just hadn't noticed that "I can handle it" and "I should handle it" are two different things.
One verse. One reflection. One prayer. Three minutes to name the load before it names you.
