Saturday 19 September 2026 - Grace, guidance and gifts

Saturday 19 September 2026 Welcome to the Saturday Examen. Throughout this week, you’ve met with Jesus on the road and journeyed with him, linking his story with your own. Still yourself now and ask the Spirit to bring to mind this week’s journey and your encounters with Jesus, through the scriptures. Where have you felt closest to Jesus? What did you experience? What do you want to say to Jesus about this? Speak with him now, as one friend to another. What has unsettled, disturbed or challenged you this week? When did you feel resistant to God? Tell God honestly about these times. Where have you sensed the Spirit at work in you this week? What growth in faith and understanding has this brought? Give thanks for this new life. In light of this week’s prayer times, what action or response to God will you make today? As the time comes to a close, ask God for the grace, guidance and gifts you need to follow Jesus more closely. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be World without end Amen
