What I've done today, I've got my seven phrases and words, but I thought it would be better if I could put them all into one context or one subject matter, okay? Rather than each word or phrase being completely different from each other in context, let's use the same context, and the context is going to be recycling, people's attitudes towards recycling, which I thought was something which is a very worthy, a very worthwhile subject to talk about.

The definition I've got here is to say that you will not do or accept something.

Right, which is just what I said, isn't it? Example, some people refuse to recycle because they think it takes too much time.

All right? So these are all words which you will hear in the story, so that is your task, to listen for these words in the story and listen for the context they are used in.

The definition of to throw away is to put something in the rubbish bin because you do not need it anymore.

Example, my neighbor throws away all his paper with the normal rubbish instead of recycling it.

And I'll just say quickly that you can find these words and expressions at your podcast app, show notes, or, and, at my website, practisingenglish.com, podcast 329.
