Mitch TaylorGuestMatthewHostI wish I had you as a teacher in middle school.
I think that would have been fascinating and I could have had some fun with that too.
But as I think of a good teacher, I'm going to go to my first year of microeconomics in university.
Michael Bradfield, fantastic teacher.
It was just amazing how... interesting the class was how relevant it was how knowledgeable he was and how exciting was to learn from him

microeconomics well so what so they must have clearly made the material meaningful right i know very little about it and it sounds somewhat boring to me but they made it understandable right they made it interesting they made an impact on your life as you're in the class you were open to learn you were willing to learn and willing to be challenged.

So, we're likewise blessed since there should be great teachers that we listen to in our local assemblies, aren't there, as well as that we enjoy at various Bible conferences.
Absolutely, 100%.
My father has certainly been a very impactful teacher in my life, and I think of other brothers from distant places that have come to the Maritimes to give us Bible teaching over the years, like Norman Crawford years ago and Sandy Higgins, and then brothers that I worked with in the gospel and taught me so much, men like James McClellan and Murray McCandless and Albert Hall, and they all taught me in various ways, and I'm very thankful for them.

Yeah, the list goes on and on, doesn't it? You know, I hesitate to mention names as well because of all the great people, past and present, who have taught me.

But, okay, so let's narrow this down a little more because you've listed several different people.
Well, I'm sure there have been many great teachers and preachers, but I would have loved to have been present in Nazareth in Luke chapter 4 to hear the Lord Jesus teach from the book of Isaiah.

And he called the Lord Jesus the rabbi or a teacher and proclaimed that we know that you are a teacher come from God.

Think again later on the assessment of temple guards, the temple officers who were sent by the Pharisees to arrest him in John chapter 7.

Without a doubt, though, There's also a teacher who I've learned from, and I know you've learned from, that is equally as great as the Lord Jesus Christ.
Well, if we didn't know that you were already going to talk to us about the Holy Spirit, that would be a very thought-provoking way to broach the subject.

That's right, because I'm thinking of when the Lord Jesus was preparing to leave his disciples, and he gave them a long set of instructions, and sometimes we refer to it as the upper room ministry.
