So that means that they have the, they're building the data centers that will be consuming the electricity that's coming onto the grid, thanks to all these new natural gas power plants.

And they're doing it without making a bunch of waves or a bunch of noise about it.

They're just quietly deciding, you know what, we're going to use what works and what I can get, which is natural gas.

Yeah, I mean, they're behind this massive gigawatt ranch natural gas power plant, too.

the ESG type statements falling by the wayside a little bit, or they still maintain that they aspire to be renewable or carbon free, but then they're just really pressing down on the gas.

And I think more than anything, whether you despise data centers, whether you're excited about the economic opportunity of them, The one thing we should all be able to appreciate is that they have entirely exposed the myth that we can have a system that runs on wind, solar, and battery storage.

Because if any companies in the world could waste enough money to actually make that happen for their businesses, it is the tech companies who have more money than anybody else.

They are saying, Oh, no, it's a huge pain in the keister to run a system with intermittent power.

We are going to run our system on natural gas, have battery storage to help manage power quality.

And then what they do a lot of times is they say, OK, well, let's let's require uh, you know, an equivalent amount of wind solar batteries to go on the grid that we're not connected to.

So we can claim the, uh, so we can claim the renewable benefits of that and kind of like shift the costs onto everybody else.

So like when they need power, it's gas, but when they want to show off, it's, uh, It's not wind and solar.

Just like I aspire to be taller and can occasionally have shoes on that make me taller.

But for the most part, I still remain five foot two and a half and it's easier that way.

I might get a little lift here and there, but my height is... truly just an aspiration not to be taken seriously um okay hey isaac great stuff real quick one more time your twitter handle and then we'll of course we'll drop in the show notes uh energy bad boys link so that folks can check you out and subscribe and become a paid subscriber
