Episode 158: Refining Process|When the oul is contaminated series

So the first thing I want to deep dive into when we begin to talk about the refining process, I want to talk about It's so important to build the leader before building the platform.

It's important to build the leader before building the platform or before placing them onto the platform.

That's why we have the formation series.

For those of you who aren't familiar with my formation series, the formation series is five books and I'm walking you through explaining to you what formation is.

When I talk about formation, as it is on this particular podcast.

As far as the terminology of it, I'm talking about the concept of when Christ taught the crowd.

When you look at Christ's template, when he walked on earth, he taught the crowds.

There's many scriptures where we see Christ being followed by the crowd.

He fed the multitude.

He is teaching the crowd, but he does something very interesting with the disciples.

He brings the disciples closer to him and he forms the disciples before he sends them out.

And that is why I teach what I call the three-year discipleship program.

which is called Formed Before Sent.

And you'll see me go deeper into Formed Before Sent as a series inside of what I call the formation room, the formation room.

You will see that launched July the 20th, well, July the 1st, you will see the formation room get launched.

And we will talk about Christ template, what he left here on the earth.

Remember, he taught the crowds.

But he brought the disciples in closer for intentional discipleship.

And that is where I get the formed before sent concept.

And so when I talk about formation, I'm talking about you being formed in Christ.

That means your spiritual development is solid.

Your character is solid.

Your capacity is solid.

God has walked you through such a refining process that now when you are placed on the platform, you're able to do all that he's called you to do.

And the platform will not cause you to be crushed.
