Oh, how I remember bringing home my first child.

I was older.

I was in my late 20s, and I had wanted a baby.

I had had two miscarriages, so I was fairly older to be starting my family.

But I think there's a lot of parents who are older starting their families as they...

Maybe the moms, you know, go to school and get their education and have some career before they decide to come home with a baby, and I really wanted to be home with my baby.

And he was really hard [laughs].

It was...

He was not easy.

Very young.

First of all, I had to have a cesarean section, and that made the healing process more difficult.

He was breech birth and, uh, came out, uh, in the wrong, wrong direction, and we had a hard time at first.

But, um, I loved nursing him and brought him home.

But if he, he wasn't nursing or sleeping, he was crying.

And I remember thinking, "Whoa, this is not what I was expecting [laughs] as a new parent." And maybe some of you have had that experience where it just doesn't line up with all the movies or any of the, any of the expectations that you might have had.

I don't know if you had that experience, Daniel [laughs].

[laughs] Indeed.

Waking up early in the morning.

Even you're sleeping, the baby's crying and want milk.

It's something else.

Parenting baby is one of the most life-changing experience a person can go through because it demands patience.

[laughs] Patience.

Lots of patience.

Sacrifice, emotional strength, and of course, unconditional love every single day.

Even if you do not s- you don't sleep the whole night when your baby's crying, for sure, you will do the things that you need to do as a parent to stop that baby cryings.
