yeah, I mean, there are other ones you could absolutely throw into the mix, but this is absolutely the other one.

And whenever you talk about or read articles looking back at that era, this is the one where people go, okay, if you think of not necessarily what was the most effect of an album, but what is the best one, a lot of people will say this is better than Blur and Oasis because it's a little bit whatever, cleverer than Oasis or not as annoying as Blur, et cetera, et cetera.

It's a difficult one for me because I was so in the trenches and deeply opposed to the Britpop scene that I very much lumped Pulp in with them and probably didn't give them much of a chance.

A lot of the stuff I was listening to was a lot more aggressive and in your face.
