On this week's episode, I.T. opens up about his new role with the Celtics as a pro and college scout and what it felt like experiencing the NBA Draft Combine on the other side of the table. Then we…

Um, something that I always wanted to do, be a part of an organization, be a part of the front office, and help make these decisions that are being made, um, down the line.
So this is a, a, a step in the right direction in terms of, you know, hopefully one day maybe being a GM or, you know, head of basketball operations or, you know, whatever, whatever the game of basketball takes me.
But I, I, I wanna be a part of the decision-making, and this is a step in that direction.
They, they, they've been wanting me to do this for a while, and it was something of interest.
And, you know, we came to something that made sense and, and it, and it still allowed me to be able to do these things like do our podcast, um, you know, coach, coach my boys, which was very important for me.
Um, and then also just, um, being able to still, you know, work with broadcasting and analysts and talk basketball and do all those things that I'm very, very passionate about.
So I gotta give a big shout-out to the Celtics, Brad Stevens, and, you know, the whole organization in, in, in wanting me to be a part of something that they got going on.
Um, this is something I can go pro in as well, you know, my second act in my life.
It was super cool to experience that on the other side, um, with me being a player and being able to experience that, you know, 15 years ago.
So I was, I was like a kid in a candy shop, like, just smiling the whole time, just being able to be in that space.
So all these people that I'm interacting with, I've known since I've been in high school, whether it been college scouts, NBA scouts, front office guys, former players.
So it was definitely, um, like a family reunion this past week, and I was, um, welcomed with open arms just in that space.
Um, I think this is just only the beginning and, you know, it's, it's-- it allows me to be able to give-- get answers to the test and be able to, you know, give that back to the kids I'm able to touch, and especially my boys.
