This is the first time I think we are tackling one of the history plays of from Henry V.

And so we are going to be looking at Act 3, Scene 4 between Alice and Catherine.

I don't think I've ever seen like a live stage production of it, but I've seen recordings of of some some stage productions of it.

And so I'm excited to learn about it and the context of this scene in particular because it is quite unusual.

So I'm excited to kind of sit back and have you all speak to me and explain this one to me.

Way back in my teen years, a Henry monologue was my drama school audition speech, the tennis balls monologue.

I... love Henry I'm less familiar with the Henrys either side four and six yeah but five is is the most uh I think accessible of the Henrys um it's the clearest story I would agree if you've if you don't really if you've if you're a person who kind of looks at the history players and thinks I don't go there I get it I totally get it yeah but they're actually if you ignore the Romans they're quite easy You just have to remember that England and France are always at war.
