It was I'm sorry to I talk about this so much, but but my first experience performing Shakespeare was when I played the nurse in Romeo and Juliet at Shakespeare camp when I was nine years old.

I think I was the youngest kid at Shakespeare camp and they cast me as the nurse.

And As You Like It was one of them and one of my one of my good friends at that camp.

played jay queez so uh i that that that was my first experience um i have never been in a full production of it but when i trained at shakespeare and company which is a theater company in lenox massachusetts they it's it's a five-week intensive and they have you have you heard of it or been there ian

I've seen several shows at Shakespeare and Company and have several friends that have worked up there and said nothing but great things.

But they were very smart because it was a five-week intensive and they gave you one scene to work on for five weeks.

And they I remember, you know, and we had to do like not an audition monologue, but sort of like we picked a monologue and we like worked through it.

And so they had me, they cast me as Celia in a scene between Rosalind and Celia, the one where she's reading the poem that she finds.

I got so sick of reading that goddamn poem for five weeks over and over and over.
