Kingdom of God Series - The One Lyndon Reiff The Kingdom of God reveals a King who relentlessly pursues the lost. Through the stories of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost son, Jesus shows…
Lyndon ReiffHostCharlizeGuestLucasGuestSo I remember one time we went to Cali Tartans with our cousins.
And I went with my uncle to get a drink.
And then he said he was going to go look at some more fish with the others.
Time went by and nobody came back.
I started to get a bit worried.
And then I saw they were starting to bring out the clothes signs and I got really worried.
I went back to where we came in and there was a big clothes sign coming down and I was like, oh no.
I looked around everywhere for them but nobody was there.
I started to cry because I felt lost and scared.
Then finally I saw my brother and cousin coming to get me.
They'd actually gone all the way out to the van before they realised I wasn't with them.
I didn't think I'd annoyed them that much that day.
Yeah.
I felt such a huge relief.
That story was from three years ago, and I can still remember the feeling of being totally lost.
In the story I've chosen today, in Luke 15, it talks about a woman who has lost something important to her.
Suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one.
Doesn't she light a lamp, sweep the floor, and search the house carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors and says, rejoice with me.
I've found my lost coin.
In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
I imagine that coin lost in some dirty corner.
I sure know a lot about dust.
There are definitely corners of my room that a coin could easily get lost in.
But here's the thing.
The things in my room don't lose their value just because they're on the floor.
