Are the chargers done? 49ers vs Broncos Are the Chiefs the best team in football? Is Puka the straw that sirs the drink?
Let's start out with the good, the Las Vegas abortions, the Las Vegas back alley hangers, the Las Vegas full terms.
These were all phrases that I've used to describe the Las Vegas Raiders in the past because, well, they have been the worst franchise in football for the last half a decade.
But much like Carolina Edge changing his sheets for the first time in a year, it looks like the change for the Raiders has been a good thing.
Now, I'm sure that turtleneck Tom Brady will take credit for the change because of his 5% ownage in the team, but more than likely, it's because of new head coach Clint Kubiak, who evidently is a quarterback whisperer.
Yep, old Caesar Milan Kubiak has taken a man that at the late stage of his career is more famous for wearing mom jeans than his play on the football field.
But like the phoenix, he rises again.
And honestly, what he's done is remarkable.
Guess how many quarterbacks at 38 years old or older have started the season throwing for three touchdown passes in each of the first three games? Well, the answer is one person, and that one person is Kirk freaking Cousins.
He didn't even do it.
Now, as for the Raiders, in the history of the NFL, guess how many teams have started three and O when they drafted a quarterback first overall.
Now that answer would be one, the 2026 Las Vegas Raiders.
Also, the reason they had the first overall pick last season is because they went three and 14 to tank at the end of the season with the worst overall record, and they got the number one overall pick.
And this season, in three games, they have already matched the entire season's win total from last year.
And unfortunately for America and especially LA, when the Raiders are good, that means an influx of neck tattoos and high white socks with a bandwagon brand-new straight-brimmed Raider hat with the sticker still on to go with a Tim Brown jersey and a 7-Eleven paper bag tallboy.
Can't freaking wait.
