See, one thing that the McKinsey role, particularly the role as a senior partner, made me very comfortable with is the concept of a portfolio.

end of the day, while it seemed... to the outside, like you had one role, one job, you were actually working a portfolio.

So at any given point in time, if you looked at your week, there would be at least eight to 10 different things that you were doing.

And I think that's a big, big gift that you become comfortable with the portfolio yeah because you've grown up with comfort around the portfolio one of the things you have to be fully comfortable with is the absence of an anchor okay in a portfolio and by the way that sometimes bothers me because the anchor then was McKinsey.


And that's one thing I had to become super comfortable with, but we'll come to that later.

The second is, you have to become very comfortable with filling your calendar on your own.

You have to be comfortable with sort of white spaces, according to me.

Because in white spaces is when opportunities emerge, according to me.

This whole notion of you have to fill yourself back to back and, you know, just stay busy.
