All right, so let's back up a step because we're tiptoeing around the topic.

So you coached Trey in high school, Chris, and then Trey graduates, moves on.

You have presumably a ton of players on your team.

What kind of kept the conversation going after Trey moves on?

I remember, so generally after guys aren't kind of, I try to be in contact a lot with guys in my immediate orbit.

It's a little bit different with college and high school, right? You can just have more touch points with college guys because they're a little more open to it.

And it's a little weird to just be texting high school kids all the time, right?

It just is.

Fair, fair.

So especially with the post high school years, again, I try to create that space.

So like they can always get in touch with me if they want to.

And I'm going to be in touch about things that I think are maybe important.

And I don't know if you remember this, but I was playing pickup with your dad in, it was during NCAA tournament, maybe right before it started, or maybe right when you guys were going to the final four, I don't remember.

And I was asking him about, you know, how you're doing or whatever.

And I sent you a message because I was just like, oh, this is really cool, you know, to just send you a message about all that.

And, you know, so not a whole lot.

And then last summer in, I must've been in July.

You just kind of called me out of the blue or texted me out of the blue.

And I was like, well, this is really nice.

And, and I mean, I want to hear like what was going on for you when you called that, but this is really nice.

You know? And so you texted her, I think, I don't know if you texted me or called me, but I'm 99% sure.

It was a call.
