And one thing that I have noticed with having a kid wrestler that's kind of had a lot of success is that there's all of these, like, dual teams and free agent dual teams and all these tournaments.
And I, it was very important to me that this summer I just kind of let, uh, let him have a summer, go fishing, ride his bike around, do camps and stuff like that.
But it was very important to me that he had a, he had a summer versus just like wrestling, um, year round.
Um, What's your thoughts on the summer tournaments and all the duels and everything that go on for youth and middle school?
A lot of wrestlers, especially at the higher level, their identity is so tied to wrestling.
They want to go with their friends to go compete in tournaments around the country.
We had my old high school coach on, and between then and now, we had the Dan Gainbowl induction ceremony when our team got inducted.
I think we stayed up until almost 5 a.m. just sitting in the hotel lobby just drinking.
having a few drinks and discussing, you know, what we had, you know, everything that happened in our lives, but also the memories we made together.
That being said, some kids are a little bit burned out or they want to do other things.
