Well, now that we have our tickets from a reputable source and we're all excited to go to the game, the next task is getting down to campus to find a place to park.

And that's always something very interesting.

But also, as the Buckeye season is underway, it's crucial that fans are aware of questionable predatory towing practices catching the fans off guard.

So this phenomenon is known as towing mercenaries.

And what does this involve, Judy?

Yes.

So we see a couple different ways.

Sometimes it's just aggressive towing practices.

So they're taking any opportunity to see your car really without any warning or clear signage that it was a towway zone.

They charge exorbitant fees.

There's actually a regulation about how much a tow service can charge you for unsolicited towing.

So they charge it over and above that.

And also lacking transparency.

You're on a lot.

There's no signage.

There's no indication that you're in a a tow tow away zone.

And that is also against the rules.

And these towing mercenaries, I mean, this it involves these towing companies.

You know, they make their money because they know that everyone is demanding these parking spaces.

And at times they could be in cahoots with event organizers all to maximize their profits.

And you've received the BBB has received numerous complaints concerning these towing grievances every single year.

Yes, we see it all the time.

And, you know, again, when there's big events in town, that's going to spike.

But there's very clear regulations with the Ohio Revised Code and the Public Utilities Commission, which kind of regulates towing services.

And there are things that have to be in place.
