Think about the last time you shared a deep, passionate, your dream, your vision, your passion, an ambitious project, or a bold vision with someone close to you, or not even that close, a good friend, a mentor, someone, a passing conversation.

Instead of encouragement and enthusiasm, maybe some validation, instead you were met with skepticism, maybe a little raised eyebrow, a sharp question, uncomfortable, challenging feedback.

Tell me, what was your immediate internal response? I know for me, It was a little bit of, huh, I sat back and I thought about it, and it kind of bothered me.

I thought, what's going on? Because personal mastery, I know I do this podcast, I've been studying this for years, but I'm still a human and I still go through the same thing.

So I ask you, when you gave this feedback that I want to, you know, do this thing, this Big Hero Audacious Goals, you've been sitting on your list for a while.

And you tell this friend, you tell someone, and you get... a little bit of negative feedback, maybe their reality, they give you a reality check, and what was your immediate response? For most of us, the natural reaction is that our back goes up, like mine did for a second, but I kept it in on the wraps.

You have the right to close off, play the victim, and walk away feeling misunderstood, unheard.

But that mindset keeps you stuck in a narrative where you are simply trying to get through life and challenges rather than getting from that feedback, from that experience.
