Harvey Bracken-SmithHostWith relationships being at the core of investment banking, how did you both, one, develop a great culture? And also, what does a great culture look like to you?

To me, a great culture is one where you really have tremendous teamwork without you know a lot of worrying about who's going to get credit for what who's going to get paid for a particular outcome who's you know who's got a particular stated role on on a project but you're just trying to help each other get it done i mean it's i i really think the analogies between sports and and wall street are so apt It really is a team sport.

And I'm sure there are hedge fund managers out there and people in other significant niches in the industry where maybe that's not true.

But certainly doing what I did, doing mergers and acquisitions and restructurings and things like that, you'd need to bring together a lot of people, people who have industry sector expertise, people who have transaction expertise, the right legal assistance that you need along the way.

You need to have more senior people, you know, kind of conceptualizing the deal and ultimately negotiating it.

And I think that the best culture is one that really pursues that as an objective.
