Hey everyone, and thank you for joining us again on the PCICS podcast, the go-to podcast for pediatric cardiac critical care.

My name is Sadie Rodriguez, and I'm a pediatric cardiac intensivist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

And today we have a very special collaboration with the World Federation of Pediatric Intensive and Critical Care Society.

We have a very special guest who will introduce themselves, and I would love for my co-host to come on and say hello.

Hi, my name is Deanna Zanatos and I'm a cardiac intensivist at the University of Louisville and Norton Healthcare and one of the co-producers of the podcast.

I am a professor of pediatrics and critical care and emergency medicine at the University of British Columbia.

I'm also the former president of the World Federation of Pediatric Intensive and Critical Care Societies.

I am really excited to be here because I think a lot of members of the society have known for many years, and it will be wonderful to be back in Melbourne, renewing old friendships and making new friends.
