Have you ever felt like you're supposed to be 100% consistent with every single thing you could possibly be doing in your business? The daily video, the posting, the emails, the podcast, the live…
Stacey Brass RussellHostAnd in the beginning, I was vigilant and I made video and I posted every single day.
Some of you were noticing and telling me, And then I would say in the last 10 days or so, it just fell off and I've been very inconsistent and I've missed a lot of days and I kind of feel a certain way about it.
But what it also has been sort of like, well, I'm trying, what I wanted to talk to you about today was I've really been trying not to beat myself up about it and not beat myself up about the fact that like, what is wrong with me? I know the importance of visibility.
I know the importance of I know that how different types of content do different things for you in your business.
And I know that the podcast, for example, which I feel so, so devoted to my consistency that like I've literally never missed putting out a new episode in almost five years, right? So we've got the five-year anniversary of this podcast coming up, right? in November which I'm so proud of and I would say in the five years I feel like there are maybe like 10 I could be wrong I have to count I feel like there might have been 10 weeks that I didn't put out a new content like new episode that's like insane that's how devoted and dedicated and consistent I am around the show and When I have something that I'm marketing and promoting, like my Profitable Coaching Business Bootcamp coming up or like Passionate and Prosperous Live coming up, my team and I create tons of content, but it's sort of like this specific kind of content.
That content, the reels that we create from the podcast, as well as all of the other types of posts that we create, graphics with captions, that we are really good about getting out there.
We schedule things in advance, like everything is sort of like a team effort.
That content gets... way different and way less engagement than the videos that I have been creating where I'm walking and talking to the camera, where I'm literally talking straight to camera.
And I've put out probably 20 something of those in the last couple of weeks.
I've gained more followers in a shorter amount of time than I have in a long time.
And so I'm well aware of the value or the benefit of like doing that kind of content.
And yet I have not been as consistent with it as I am with all the other stuff because And the reason is because, and I'm just going to come out and say it, I hate doing it.
