You know what happens right before you do something new — have a conversation you've never had before, make an offer, raise your price, put something out into the world. Before the thing has even…
Stacey Brass RussellHostAnd I'm gonna give you some real-life, uh, scenarios here, because the reason why I wanted to talk about this with you is that, you know, it's something that's i- interestingly been coming up a lot with my clients.
So in the Passion and Prosperous Academy, one of the n- you know, major things that I help people do is get clients.
[laughs] I mean, I d- I can't help you get the client, meaning I don't provide leads to you.
But I think that, that One of the most challenging things for, for, uh, the, the kind of people I work with who are, who are not selling one-off sessions, right? Like, I don't teach you to exchange time for money.
Like, the people who I help that are doing, like, intimate, deep, relationship-driven work with their clients, that are teaching high-touch group programs or that are working one-on-one with people, that really understand the value of helping people to, you know, to actually get results and outcomes.
And most of the time people don't get that when they're just left to their own devices, like, by buying a course or having to watch a bunch of videos on their own without any other kind of interaction or support.
So I really am the coach for the people that know that and that are out there really doing the work.
They're out there, they are teaching, they are coaching, they are showing up for their people.
They're actually just willing to figure out what the right offer and program is to serve the people that they're saying they can help, right? That's who I help.
And one of the things that goes along with that is that you're not just charging, like, a couple of bucks here and there.
You're actually creating offers and programs that have, you know, like, we'll call it significant investments on them, right? Like $1,000, $1,500, $2,000, 3,000, 5,000 and up.
And the thing that we know is that for most people when they are in business, whatever stage you're in, if you are just starting, charging someone $1,500 could feel like, "Oh my God, I, I, I, I, you know, I don't know if I can do it.
You know, I don't know, like, how to, how to sell or, or ask someone for that kind of money." That's, like, for someone in the beginning.
And then I have other clients where we do tremendous amounts of work, inner work, mindset work, uh, strategic work around when they wanna increase their investment, right? They wanna go from 1,500 to 2,500.
And I'm gonna give you some real-life, uh, scenarios here, because the reason why I wanted to talk about this with you is that, you know, it's something that's i- interestingly been coming up a lot with my clients.
