I don't really want to answer the question of the value of doing the hard things, except that that's where we grow.

But the question is, how do you help your child do hard things? There's a saying that I could not find the source today, and it is, he who wins...

You know, there is a chance for victory for us to do something that is difficult.

And in that, where we think those things, we are much more likely to do something that challenges us.

And where we have hope that there is victory, where we think we can do we're more likely to do it.

And we as parents need to model that confidence that it's worth doing something hard for the chance that you can do it and that you have a hope that you can complete it.

And so we as parents need to model for our children and inspire our children that hard things are worth doing and that it's good and that there is hope and that we may accomplish good things by doing something that's out of the ordinary.
