Solo ep - The Block, how I made it onto Australia's number 1 property show

Hi, everyone.

Welcome to another solo ep.

So, yes, I've been holding out on you, and I can finally tell you what I've been up to over the last couple of months, and that is I have been filming with The Block Australia.

For those of you who don't know what The Block is, um, I'm surprised firstly 'cause it's [laughs] a quite a well-known show, but, but my parents didn't know what it was, so let me fill you in.

It is, like, sort of the number one property show here in Australia, and contestants build a house, right? And, uh, over the period of a number of weeks, and they style it, and then those houses get sold.

And I have been watching it for years.

I'm the biggest Block-head going around, and I always wanted to be on the show, but not as a contestant.

I wanted to be on the show as a foreman or a forewoman or however you would say it.

So essentially, the person who runs the jobs.

And as you know, I'm a res- a registered builder.

I work in property outside of my podcast business.

And so it just always felt like the greatest fit.

But it was such a pie in the sky dream, and guys, I achieved that dream.

Now, there's only so much I can say about the details of the show and things like that.

I'm still under NDA, uh, with Channel Nine.

But what I wanted to talk about in this solo episode was more around how I manifested this opportunity, and perhaps how that could inspire you to also manifest things that are like-- that you've always wanted to do and achieve, but sometimes you don't even think it would be possible.

Well, I'm here to tell you it is possible, and I wanna fill you in on how this all came about.
