Um, and on our last show, we previewed OTAs from the offensive side of the ball, what we're looking for, things that are on our mind.
So we'll switch to the defensive side of the ball for this episode, and I'll just throw it out there to you.
What rises to the top of your observation list when we hit the practice field later this week?
Uh, first and foremost, we all know Micah Parsons working his way back from that ACL.
We know that Lucas Van Ness is probably gonna be taking that spot opposite of Micah Parsons this year, that the runway has been cleared, much like with Matthew Golden in the receiver position.
But there still needs to be somebody lined up across from Van Ness, and you're gonna need guys to fill up in that rotation now with Kingsley Enigbari gone.
... just seeing which young guy fills those roles early on and who ultimately emerges during these training camps can be fascinating to watch, whether it's obviously Baron Sorrell, who is a tremendous story.
Well, what sometimes I think gets overlooked is the fact he was a fourth-round pick.
He was a really good prospect, um, coming out of Texas, and just looking at him and his body this off-season, how he's matured in that capacity, and how he finished last year with that game against Minnesota, uh, I, I think he's a real contender for that spot.
