It's our first chance to speak to you actually since the appointment of Aaron Ramsey.

At that moment, what was coming down the tracks I think was as, as surprise to you as much as it was to, to him and others.

Um, and look, I completely understand the, the supporters' concerns and frustrations around that.

Um, you know, I'll try and explain the situation as best I can as to, as to how we've got here.

Um, you know, ultimately, the ownership group have in- invested heavily over the last four years to, to elevate the club from, from where it was, and, you know, of course, we've had a lot of success in that time.

Um, last season was, you know, let's be honest, probably the first real disappointment in that period of time.

Of course, we see the, the, the investment in the men's team each, each week, but, you know, the academy's expanded massively, which, of course, we're seeing the benefits of now.

The women's teams ha- had a, you know, a, a big investment into that as well, and of course, the stadium project.

So, you know, in January, club made the decision to, to, you know, invest further to, to try and boost our chances of surviving in the championship.

Um, of course, we fell short of that, but, but I really believe we signed a lot of good players that will, will help us now and in the future.

Um, you know, relegation coupled with a few changes within the regulations have, have kind of left us where we are.

Um, you know, it's taken a lot of time to understand what's, you know, what was possible within those regs, and it, and it is unknown territory for everybody.

Um, it's been a challenging few months, but, but I have to say I'm immensely proud of our football club and, you know, everyone associated with it.

Um, very much a big believer in, you know, you see, you see what people are made of, and you learn a lot about people in, in, in these tough moments and, you know, from top to bottom inside the building.

Players and staff, the way, you know, they've reacted, so to speak, to the, to the challenges have been outstanding, um, as well as the way the, the fans have embraced it and, and got behind the team from minute one this season, you know, which has been incredible.
