... after the fact at a bar, Dan and Scott talking, and I'm like, "Oh, hey, I got a book on this," which was half true.

But, um, as a Lutheran pastor for the last 15 years, I, I'm in a pretty dynamic city, a lot of people coming and going, military, sailors, Marines.

I'm right in the midst of, like, four or five different major colleges, universities.

So there's not alm- almost not a week I don't have someone coming through the door, Lutheran-curious or, um, they, they want to know more about historic Christianity.

So they're either a none, they have, they were like me, they had no background-They're a burned-out Evangelical looking for something else, is there something else? Or they're a disaffected Roman Catholic.

And so they come, they want to meet with me, so when they're somewhere during the week meeting with me, uh, in my study, eventually we gotta get to this topic.

If they're an, an unbeliever c- converting, I want to eventually talk to them about being baptized.

If they're an Evangelical, they've heard me say from the pulpit or a Bible study, "You keep talking about this as if God is the one who's done this, that God's saying this.

So I wanted a resource to be able to hand to them, and then to w- work, sort of walk through them.
