If there was one thing you could say you picked up from each tradition, what would you say each one has kind of given you?

So I think during my time, when I was in Catholic high school, There was just there was something to me about prayer, even though, you know, looking back, I just I really was not, you know, a believer at that time.

And you know, there's kind of apparitions of Mary that happened there, supposedly.

And... um basically all these people go to this pilgrimage there's a huge cross at the top of it and they walk up the mountain barefoot and so as you're walking you look down and the the rocks were actually they're actually smooth like almost like a river like rushed over it that's how many people are walking up this mountain and so my friend and i we were cross-country runners and we were like you know let's go up barefoot because that's what some people do so you know we did that but i just remember that morning like you know, being in prayer, walking up and really reflecting.

I think the, that aspect of prayer that I experienced then was something that I, you know, really value.

And I think that was a big part of, you know, actually coming to know the Lord was just that, you know, starting to pray and starting to ask the Lord to open my eyes and, So yeah, I would say it all started then.

And so I guess that reverential prayer is something that I've really loved from that time in my life.

And it's funny because everyone's talking about tradition, but like, when I was Catholic back when it wasn't cool, like 20 years ago, like it was more just like, yeah, we, no one was really having those conversations.
