All About Cosplay on Outside of the Box

My dream costume is Queen Amidala from The Phantom Menace, specifically the first gown you see her in in her first shot.

If I had a way to show you, I'd show you my wall dedicated to that.

I call it my Amidala.

It's fantastic and I love it and I need new shelves, but that's my dream costume when I win the lottery or whatever.

Yeah, I would imagine that that one would be very involved.

So, you know, hey, like, here's to hoping that you win the lottery.

What, for you, what types of, you know, techniques and things like that do you use in your cosplay? Because, I mean...

Obviously, there's all kinds, you know, and there's all levels to it, right? There's like the sewing and the crafting and some people do foam work and, you know, other things.

But what types of things do you find that you typically feel most comfortable with?

I mean, I don't do a whole lot of that, honestly.

This Mando, I had to get into the sanding of 3D prints.

I've not really worked with 3D printing stuff before.

So that was a lot of sanding and stuff.

I had to sew a flak vest.

So I had to find a pattern and I did that.

I do some sewing here and there.

Like for the Ren Faire we had locally, I made a vest thing the night before out of a curtain.

So I'm like kind of okay with sewing.

And I had to do a lot of painting on the armor, which I feel like I do okay with painting.

This was a lot of spray painting.

I've not done that much before.

I've only done like small things here and there.

So to actually like have to do it in this amount was a lot.

I feel like Walmart's like, why is she buying so much spray paint? Yeah.

again um but yeah but I mean painting like I like to do body paint so I do green a lot and I guess that's more my medium would be body painting and makeup, I guess that counts.
