Today, we're gonna be going through PSA testing and prostate cancer screening.
This is gonna be a topic that's sort of in the news at the moment, um, with the recent screening and surveillance scheme being rolled out to patients, like patients from forty-five to seventy-four, to try and screen for the risk of prostate cancer in that group.
It's something that patients certainly in primary care will present with quite commonly, is deranged sort of urinary tract symptoms, possibly sexual dysfunction, and they may be worried about a diagnosis of prostate cancer, and they may ask about the PSA test.
