I think when I reflect on this break, for me, the biggest thing I got out of it was rest.
Like, a deeper rest from the day-to-day work that it, that this stuff takes, that the podcast takes, and upkeeping the website, upkeeping my mini readings, and doing all of that, which, as you know, I love, but it is work.
And it, a- and I needed a deeper rest than I thought I originally did, and I had to come to terms with that.
I had to kinda come to terms with me really enjoying having a break, and I really loved just being able to have the flexibility to really do whatever I wanted to do for a while.
But when the spring came around, like March, April, I really felt ready to just kind of start to come out of my cocoon and start back up again with live readings and stuff.
But the other thing this break taught me, since it was longer than anticipated, is that time really just goes.
