To know the Father’s love means to obey Him, for only those who obey are able to say that they recognize His authority over their lives and experience His loving care for them.
If you want to know what a relationship with God the Father looks like, the place to begin is with what that meant for Jesus.
Jesus knew and enjoyed the Father's love, and his whole life was aligned around the Father's will.
We see this most clearly in the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus said, "'My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me, nevertheless not as I will, but as you will.'" We all want to know the Father's love, but here's the challenge.
Are you ready to say to God, not my will, but yours be done? Knowing the Father's love and doing the Father's will belong together.
