Jess TraversGuestToniHostSamHost[upbeat music] With all the news around about conflicts and oil prices and an AI boom, a lot of people have been wondering, is now a good time to invest? We're about to chat with Jess Travis from Milford Asset Manag- uh, Management.
Now, this segment is educational only and should not be considered financial advice.
Morning, Jess.
Is now a good time to get in?

There is gonna be a lot of news flow around for a while probably, so don't delay getting your money working hard for you, getting compounding returns based on all the news flow and volatility that we see out there.

Um, and if you're gonna delay it, you're gonna miss out on really getting that money growing and working hard for you.
And what about strategies? Are there, like, strategies that you should be looking for, that you can use?

So look, first thing I would say, if you are feeling nervous about investing, then you don't have to invest all at once.

So that's breaking up your investment and drip feeding it in over, it could be fortnight, months, over a longer period of time.

And then if markets do go lower, you're getting the benefit of buying into that weakness.
Mm
Right.

So if you're worried or nervous, make sure you are not putting too much into one fund or one share or one asset, because actually we know that having too much in a poor performing asset can really be detrimental to your long-term returns.
