Start the Conversation

Now today is tip number 62 and I want to talk to you about starting the conversation.

Because getting a pupil invested in learning a skill aspect of driving can be quite simple, but actually digging deeper into their thoughts can prove trickier.

So today I want to encourage you to simply start those conversations.

Now that could come right from lesson one by asking about seatbelt use.

Do they always wear one? Do their friends wear them? How will they police that in their own car? Now, simply by starting these conversations, you get in the pupil thinking.

And whether that's seatbelts, insurance, or even how they would handle drunk friends in the car, that can only be a good thing.

And if you struggle starting these conversations, I highly recommend the Honest Truth app.

It's a great starting point and a tremendous resource.
