Today we're going to talk mostly about distarlamab's journey to now being FDA approved for mismatch-repaired deficient locally advanced rectal cancer.

Before I get into that, I do have one quick update, which is on sunvozertinib, which is a TKI that was approved in July of 2025, more than one year ago here in the U.S., for exon 20 skipping a mutation ex you have egfr for non-small cell lung cancer and patients who receive platinum-based chemotherapy i had this question come up twice since it was fda approved it's in the guidelines can we use this drug it was not commercially available yet it is as of today so now you it's commercially available so if you want to use that drug you can use that drug, why it took a year to be available commercially.

I don't know, probably a subject of another podcast and some speculation, but suffice to say, if you've got someone that progression on chemo and you want to give them some oral for exon 20 skipping mutations, Um, with advanced lung cancer, uh, you now can use, uh, what is, uh, in the guidelines and some of us are new.
