I knew it was a period piece and that it was 10 episodes, and I thought, "Okay." I watched all 10 episodes this weekend, and I would do it again.
It, it, it's so different to anything else I've seen that's kind of been period stuff.
I mean, Ruth plays Mrs. Boleyn, maybe one of the kind of best or most famous villains in the world.
But, but it was Ella who plays Mary Boleyn in this, who I just thought the casting in this, particularly with her, was extraordinary.
And I think this would've been a very different show had they cast someone else in that role because what she brought to it physically, um, as well as, you know, her kind of performance, I just thought was fantastic.
And a- as I was watching this girl act, and I had never seen her in anything before, so this was, for me, like a debut role.
There was a scene where she got flustered about something, and her face literally flushed.
And I thought, "Oh my God, how do you even do that as an actress? How do you control mentally your body to even have that reaction?" She is so fantastic in it.
