Amazing.
Um, do you think Villainy sounds different now to when you first started out all that time ago? Like, or do you still keep the essence of Villainy when you're writing, or is that sound, do you feel, has it evolved for you guys?
Yeah, I mean, I think we, you know, we're much more, like, accomplished players, and we kind of, we know what we're doing.
How do we, how do we sorta mend and meld that?" Um, I think when you're first starting out as a band, you're playing, like, a lot more from just, just vibes.
Um, now we're much more like, you know, we have this grab bag of ideas, and, like, with Demons, we, you know, we're like, "Let's use that riff, and let's use this part, and then let's kind of like put the kaleidoscope together and see what fits."
So it's more a streamlined process these days now, 'cause you're quite in tune with each other, and you've been writing together for how long now?
Yeah.
So it's like second nature.
It's like your second skin that you slip into.
Yeah, and I think, you know, we, particularly with this record, we wanted to write something that was gonna work really well live.
And, and this one, we played it out at Homegrown early in the year and a few other shows, and it just hit instantly, and we're like, "Cool," like, "This is, this is, this is gonna work."
Amazing.
