on season 11 of the show, which feels wild to say out loud, 11 seasons of Off the Grid, but we're going to have some really great episodes this fall.
So my current plan, what should be happening very, very soon, literally next week, is that I plan to bring season 11 of the show back to all of you on September 2nd with an episode about what to do when your business isn't working.
So if In September, we're going to have a bit of a theme similar to our Back to Biz Refresh series that's kind of about pivoting.
What do you do when something's not working? What do you do when you're not making enough money? How do you navigate that? So we'll start with an episode from me where I walk you through my process for business triage, like trying to figure out what is happening here.
Like, if you brought your business into Amelia's business emergency room, how would we triage this? What would we do to try to sort of turn that business ship around from rough, choppy waters back to smooth sailing? So I'll have a solo episode for you all about that.
And then I have recorded three conversations with folks who have made huge changes in their business, who have started businesses, closed businesses, started new businesses.
I'll be talking to Luca Davis about running a gym, destigmatizing bankruptcy, and starting a web design business.
I'll be talking to Shereen Leong-Schwartz about the grief of sunsetting a business, transitioning from being a personal chef to offering retreats, coaching, and beautiful knitted products.
And I'll be talking to Heather Backseeman of Small Business Rodeo about her experience from running a brick and mortar retail shop to closing that down, becoming a business strategist, and now doing some very fun other business things with her spouse.
So all of that will be coming up in September as part of a mini series, or really just like an early theme of the season around what do we do when things aren't working? How do we know if we need to make a change? How do we make a big change? What comes up when you do that? I want to continue to acknowledge that things are hard right now.
And I wanna acknowledge that by offering you stories from people who have been there and moved through it.
I'm also planning an episode on how... to make money with an email list of under 500 people.
One of my favorite creative coaches and inspirers, Catherine Lasoda, will be joining me for a conversation about energetic sovereignty and how to be your own daddy, as one of her programs puts it.
