We'll get through today, and I know that some of you will be very happy to see some of that rain, given the, that we've seen, uh, several small brush fires, uh, spring up across the municipality as of late.
We saw one out in Late Echo late last week, and, uh, we certainly can use the precipitation.
We'll see this 20 to 30 millimeters of rain before it, uh, makes way for, uh, sunshine tomorrow.
Uh, very quickly before we get to our Counselors on the Hot Seat segment, a couple of things I wanna pla- pass along to you.
Uh, by-election for that brand-new riding a- and brand-new MLA up in Cape Breton is underway.
And CUPE, uh, CUPE is expected to picket the premier state of the province address today.
The premier will appear before a, a crowd of people to, uh, to tell us all about what he thinks is going on in the province.
Um, I'm hearing that those tickets range anywhere from 150 to $250 each to go to this event, which is a pretty steep cost, if you ask me.
Instead of going to [chuckles] Ottawa, he's gonna go to New York City, promoting Canada again.
Uh, and, uh, very quickly before, uh, we move on, we got some new da- uh, um, polling data this morning from Abacus Data, uh, here in the province, showing a 10-point drop in the popularity of Tim Houston since January.
Of course, that would take into account the budgeting process and all of the fallout with regards to that.
