Liz was on Gardeners' World 2026 episode 10 when she showed us how to forage in our own back gardens, putting ground elder, nettles and Honesty in a whole new edible light. On this episode we find out about the little book that opened up a whole new world of foraging for Liz, how to use plants to stimulate hair-growth, and the amazingly delicious and nutritious leaf salads we can make from trees.
We also make a major U-turn on Japanese knotweed, as we learn what an incredible, under-appreciated, over-demonised plant it actually is.
And did you know there's more vitamin C in the leaves of blackcurrant than in the fruit? We didn't either🤷🏼♀️
