We are back again today.

I'm here with Jacob, and we are chatting about another great script today.

Nice to be into the rhythm of a season as we kind of get rolling on this season 17.

And exciting to read a new play to me today, Stop Kiss by Diana Sutton.

That's right.

Stop Kiss is kind of an American classic in some ways at this point.

A play from 1998, but has been produced hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of times, both nationally and internationally.

And since then, it's truly become one of the more produced plays in America, in part because of its, I mean, strong message about, I mean, we'll certainly get into what the play is about.

Maybe I won't give any of that away on the front end.

except to say that we're late in the life of no script to come to a play that's this universal maybe, or certainly there are communities in your area that have done Stop Kiss, colleges, theaters of all sort of types and levels.

And it's just a charming little play.

It's a meaningful little play.

It's a meaty play for actors.

It's a very popular play to pull scenes for scene working class from.
