This is a biography on Alex Honnold, one of the best free soloists in the entire world.

For those who don't know what free soloing is, it is the most extreme form of climbing.

It's climbing without a rope, without a harness, without any form of protection, simply the person and the rock.

In Alex's life, he has soloed the northwest face of Half Dome, Moonlight Buttress in Zion, El Sendero Luminoso in Mexico, and El Capitan in Yosemite, which no other free soloist has ever even attempted.

I am so excited about this episode, and the reason I wanted to cover Alex Honnold is not just for what he accomplished, but it's how he was able to accomplish everything that he has.

You see, Alex Honnold is the type of character that I call a modern-day samurai, someone who is completely devoted to pursuing their craft to perfection.

And what's interesting about this is that by following this sort of samurai philosophy, Alex has been able to become the best at his craft, better than everyone else in the entire world.
