On this week's episode of Next Level Minds, I chat through a few reasons why your life has not landed like you have wanted it to.

So what I wanted to talk about today, and this was something that just flashed in my mind a couple hours before I started recording this episode.

I think of an idea, maybe write down a couple bullet points, and then I get going.

And what I wanted to talk about was why has life not materialized for you? And I think a lot of people in life, maybe they're in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, whatever it is, and they're looking at their life and they're thinking, hmm, it hasn't really materialized like I would have hoped.

The strategy is discipline, hard work, commitment, which we'll get to those things.

But I see a lot of people on social media and LinkedIn, and I've had some conversations with people.

And I've even had situations in my life that I thought would be more materialized than they are.

I am very blessed to have achieved majority of what I wanted by 30 years old, which I set up these goals when I was about 21, 22 years old.

So I wanted to make an episode for the people that are looking at their lives and saying, you know what, this has not materialized like I envisioned, like I wanted, right? And the first thing that I want to talk about as to why that may be, in my opinion, it's because You have not decided what you actually want in life, and you have not figured out exactly what you desire.

Your success will only be as big as the belief system, the visions, the goals, the things that you put into your mind, but you're never going to materialize those things if you've never spent the time thinking about what is it that you actually want? What is it that you actually desire? So I believe that's one of the first hindrances.

I posted on LinkedIn the other day, the importance of just drinking a cup of coffee with nothing else to do other than drink a cup of coffee or spending some additional time in solo thoughts, driving in the car with no music, going on a walk with no music or podcast or phone conversation, just in your thoughts.

For those of you who have faith, which I'm sure majority of you do, since this is a, one of the pillars of this podcast is faith and God says He will reveal the plans for you.

There's times that you can have this reflection where we can pray to God and literally quote what He says in Scripture in Proverbs 16, 9, where it says, "...the heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps." And saying that prayer of saying, Lord, where do you want me to go? What is the will that you have for my life? What are the desires that you want to put on my heart? You are in control.

I also think that it's important to reach out to those, getting out of the solo aspect, reach out to those who have achieved, maybe on a surface level, things that you would like.

Maybe they have the house that you want, the car that you want, the marriage that you want, the... relationships that you want, the financial situation that you want, reach out to those individuals and see what they do and see what they desire.
