It was a great time, but now we are entering back into our One Story, and the title for today's message is this: The King We Want versus The King We Need.

Today, we're gonna be l- spending our time looking at the life of David, while also connecting this to the One Story.
So we'll be thinking about what it means to have a king, what, who, who Samuel is a little bit, Saul and David, but ultimately we'll be focusing our eyes on the eternal king.
And as we pick up the story, we're gonna come to one of the most important figures of the Old Testament, David.
But before we get to David, I want to bring us back to the beginning and to think about this specific idea.
