Well, pop yourself a beer or a cold libation.
Let me tell you how I wrote this little theme.
I went and took a call from Brother Jason, and he tells me that he has a little dream.
He says he needs a backwards intro to begin his podcast, and I ask him, what you got? He said, I'll start off with some talking and some really good, some popcorn-fighting, fantasy explorations and some groundless exploitation, kickstarts that I'm watching, and some blind unboxings, full-month horror movie marathons.
Sometimes I let the box come on, contest and a portion of what's all about games.
I said, so then, let's just start with the name.
RPG Variety Podcast With the other Jason
Hey, everybody.
I'm your host, Jason.
This is the last regular scheduled episode for RPG A Day 2026.
And the genre we're doing this time is sci-fi.
I've got calls from geomologists, biologists.
So I'll play all those calls and I've got my initial call that I made to Merc when we first started this idea and he was going to host everything.
I'll play that first because the others are kind of bouncing off my call.
So that's what you're going to hear here and I'll maybe put a comment here or there.
By the way, if you missed the chance to call in and you want to call in your idea about sci-fi gaming, please do.
There's still time.
On the 31st of August, I'm going to put out a final episode, a wrap-up episode with all the feedback.
We already have a number of calls from the other episodes.
So if you have thoughts of your own for sci-fi gaming, or you just want to call in response to something you hear on this episode, as long as you get it to me by August 29th is going to be the cutoff.
So the end of the day on the 29th, and I'll put the episode together on the 30th.
It'll be included in that episode on August 31st.
All the ways to reach me are in the show notes.
If you get in after that, it'll be in a future show.
But I just want to give you a chance to still get in during the month.
So with that said, let's play that first call and get into it.
