So I would love to talk a little bit, Ruth, about, you know, you talk a little bit about negotiating for your limitations.

And I'd love to introduce this concept, if you can share with my audience, what does that mean when you're negotiating for your limitations? What is that?

So I think we all do it to some extent when you hear yourself say, I can't do that.

Or you think to yourself, who do I think I am that I'm going to want to write a book? And even if I do write a book, who's going to even read it? And why would I want to write a book? Because what do I have to say that nobody has already said? And so you're negotiating with your limitations.

Now, why is that so important? Because in my opinion, and when I work with my clients, until you can get past those limitations, see them for what they are.

We go, huh, there's still an area here that I can work on to make my life and my business a lot more harmonious.

However, if you're finding that you're having difficulty in negotiations, I don't care what it is with clients, whether they, maybe they want their money back and you have a strict rule that you know that you give so much upfront and for whatever reason, how do you negotiate that? Or you just say, phooey, that's it.

So, you know, it's not a clean break unless you've been very, very clear in terms of what you can and can't do.

So you have to take the personality out of the equation because that's what can kill a negotiation.
