Can you start us off by giving an overview of the two drug oral regimens currently used in HIV care and where they typically fit into clinical practice?

Yeah, so today I thought we would look at some of the two drug regimens being used in care that are currently available.

What we're going to focus on today is really on the ones that are FDA approved.

So sometimes people try to go from three drugs down to two for various reasons.

But the three main regimens I think that people are using in this setting, at least as single tablet regimens, are going to be W-tegovir with ropivirine, Do you take it with lamivudine? And then there's also the new Daravirine and Slachivir, which was recently approved, which we've covered in the past.

But before we even start to discuss any of these, just I'm going to say this multiple times today, but just in case you only catch snippets of the podcast, just please make sure that none of these drugs cover are appropriate for people who have chronic hepatitis B.
For providers who may be considering these options, can you walk us through the FDA indications for each of these two drug regimens and who they'd be appropriate for?
