We intercepted it, seeing how it may contain classified information.

And does it? Well, it might.

I'm not sure.

How's that? It does or it doesn't? Well, if it does, then it's above my clearance.

We've got a lot here to get through.

All right.

Dear nephew, I'm not sure where you are or when this will reach you, but I wanted to tell you that I'm alive.

I was brought to Buchenwald, and that was the last place where I saw any of our clan.

Bloody hell.

Gets worse, mate.

But how I escaped that evil place and ended up in England is another story.

I've been working with the Brits, helping in any way I can.

I can't tell you where I was sent.

All I can say is it was a port city occupied by Germany.

My job was to smuggle an important royal member of that country back to England.

I mean, seems good.

Sure.

We were successful, but the thing we encountered there is the true reason I'm writing to you.

There are among the Germans a group of special soldiers we have started referring to as Übermensch.

Übermensch? Is that German? Übermensch? All right.

That means Superman, I think? Sure.

I was captured by one of them.

He stared into my eyes, and I watched his cold blue eyes turn the same brown as my own.

I watched as his skin darkened and stretched, his bones cracked and shifted.

His hair grew six inches and turned dark brown to match my own.

Right in front of me, this man changed into my doppelganger.

Are you putting me on, mate? Is that

what this says? Look right here.

When I was in the labor camps, the guards treated us like animals.

Many of them enjoyed seeing us suffer.

Those men looked like...

Those men looked compassionate compared to the doppelganger.

I met him for only a moment, but I'll never forget the way he looked at me.

He stared into my eyes, with my eyes, and made me feel insignificant.

All right, that's enough.
