Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note. Isaiah 80 (38:1 - 38:6)
And the Gemara says in Brachos daf yud medaleph, Omar Rav Minnina, mai diksev mi ka chochem im yedaya peshat davar.
Who is the wise man and knows the interpretation of the matter? The Gemara says that mi kakkodosh Baruch Hu she yedaya laas es peshura ben shnei tzadikim.
Who's like the Aibishter and knows how to make peace, a peshura between two tzadikim ben Hezekiah v'Sheyui.
This is between Hezekiah and Sheyui.
And the Gemara explains what happened, that Hezekiah said that I'm not going to Yeshayah Nabi.
So Achav was the king, and I'm a king, and, um, Eliyahu Nabi was the nabi, and Yeshayah is the nabi.
He should come to me.
And Yeshayah said that no, Hezekiah should come to me, because we find by Yehoiram ben Achav that he went to Elisha.
So they weren't going to each other because everyone held that it's better that the other one should come to them.
Not that Chas V'Shalom they were balagav, Hezekiah and Yeshayah.
They were big tzadikim.
It's just everyone felt that the right thing to do is that the other one should come to them, because otherwise there'll be either a pagam in kovod HaTorah, or a pagam in the, in the kingship, in the melech.
So what did Hashem do? Hashem made that Hezekiah Melech Yisrael should become sick, and he told to Yeshayah Nabi, "Go and be mevaker bachol," because once you're being mevaker bachol, you're doing a mitzvah.
So for a mitzvah, you can definitely go.
And Yeshayah Nabi came to him, and he said, we'll see it soon in the pesukim, "Yomai elev ko yoma Hashem tzav l'beis chu ki meis atu v'lo seichye." Write your tzurah because you're going to die.
What mai ki meis atu v'lo seichye? What does it mean that you're going to die and you're not gonna live? Because if you're gonna die, obviously you're not gonna live.
So it means mes beolam haze, v'lo seichye leolam haba.
You won't live in the next world.
So Hezekiah Melech Yisrael said to Yeshayah Nabi, "Mai kellehai?" What's all this? What's the whole, whole trask over here? Umrim la mi shelo sakdu b'piryo v'rivo, because you were not oisek b'piryo v'rivo, you didn't get, never got married.
So he says, "Yeah, the reason why I didn't get married, because I saw neiach hakodesh that's gonna come out from me, children which aren't, um, gonna be, um, ilech." So he said, Yeshayah Nabi said, "V'ha de kav sh'dech muna lamalach." Why do you mix yourself into the secrets of Hashem? Don't mix in.
Mai de mafkedes yvoelech l'mevid.
What Hashem said the mitzvahs that you should do, you should get married and have children, you have to do.
Imah de nichah kamikei sh'berichi levid, and what Hashem wants that your children should be, let it be.
